About Us

History
Gregory T. Hicks & Associates, P.C. began practice in 1980 as a firm specializing in historic preservation. Through the years, we have served many long-term clients with projects that evolved over many years and across multiple campuses. We learn about our client's needs, by studying their current facilities, interviewing staff and by touring similar facilities. We believe if we can help our clients tell us about their needs and wishes for their work environments, we can give those ideas form.
Gregory T. Hicks has a proven track record of delivering projects on-time and within budget. Average tenure of our staff is over 18 years, meaning we are very experienced in working together and we share common goals for project delivery.
Over the years, GTH has expanded into the development of medical and educational projects, both privately held and publically funded. We have designed projects across the state of New Mexico. We are proficient with local building codes and have delivered several LEED accredited projects, including New Mexico's first publically funded LEED Platinum Project, the University of New Mexico's College of Education Building Phase I.
Philosophy
We believe it is our responsibility to work with each client and develop realistic goals for project delivery. Today's building owners are challenged by space needs, code-compliance, energy cost considerations, etc. Developing a new building project can seem overwhelming. It is our job to analyze your needs, beginning with careful programming and continuing all the way through preparation of construction documents and ultimately through construction of your building project.
